Sunil Parekh, the founder of PanIIT Gujarat, introduced the PanIIT alumni who are heading various organisations in Gujarat. These include Directors from ISRO, Mica, CII, ICFAI and many more, in the gathering of about 40 alumni. Outreach meeting was in the evening from 6.00 to 8.00.

Santhanam made a presentation on 2008 Global Conference, Kalyan's presentation was on Reach4India and Ranjan's on IITians for ITI. The evening ended with an interesting Question & Answer session.

The Scientific Farming project of Madhavan's received a lot of attention. Several alumni showed interest in setting up model farms. Madhavan's Proposal was sent to Sunil.
