| Leveraging Research and Technology in Rural Development
Rural India is a land of opportunities - if we view every problem as an opportunity for solution. However, what sets India apart is that we are also endowed with (a) the human resources capable of coming up with solutions and (b) a large enough market to nurture the solutions. Recognition of the market opportunity in rural India has, in recent years, spurred corporate India to come up with products and services tailored to this segment. However, deeper problems can be addressed only if industry and academia innovate on ways to involve end-users as participants in the process of finding a solution, rather than as mere consumers.

| Innovation for an Equitable World
Science, Technology and Innovation have emerged as important tools for socio-economic development in the knowledge economies of the world. Access to technology and innovation remaining asymmetric, innovation divides are likely to render the development inequitable and hence the world order unstable. Innovations are required for the manner in which technologies are generated for bridging the technology-led economic divides among Nations. Main features of an innovation eco-system that would serve the purpose of an innovations and not focus on the process of innovation and contribute towards an equitable world would be explored in this work.
